Inspect bushings (1 and 2) for wear, nicks, and
scratches.
a.
On the top surface of bushings (1 and 2),
nicks or scratches 0.025 inch or less deep
can be blended out. On all other surfaces of
both bushings, wear and damage is limited to
a depth of 0.005 inch.
b.
Damage greater than that specified in step a
requires replacement of the bushing.
2.
Prepare pusher/puller (T98) for use:
a.
Remove pusher/puller (3) and pusher guide
(4) from threaded rod (5).
b.
Remove rod (5) and nut (6) from yoke (7).
