Do not install bolts unless bushings
are in bellcranks; otherwise, damage
to components will result.
NOTE
Impedance bolts are installed in flight
control connections. These bolts
are self-retaining and require special
torque and nut (Task 1-13).
1.
Position control pallet (1) inside closet (2) on
bulkhead (3), with feel spring (4) outboard and
aft.
NOTE
Longer bolts are installed outboard,
shorter bolts inboard.
2.
Have helper support pallet (1). Working in
cockpit, install eight washers (5) and bolts (6)
through bulkhead (3) and in pallet. Torque bolts
to 50 to 70 inch-pounds.
