MIX ADHESIVE
10.
Mix adhesive (E40 or E41) as follows:
Adhesives (E40 and E41) are
toxic. It can irritate skin and cause
burns. Avoid inhaling. Use only with
adequate ventilation. Avoid contact
with skin, eyes, or clothing. In case
of contact, immediately flush skin
or eyes with water for at least 15
minutes. Get medical attention for
eyes.
NOTE
Adhesive (E40) is preferred. Use
adhesive (E41) only if adhesive (E40)
is not available.

Mix a tube of prepackaged adhesive (E40).
Follow instructions on kit. Wear gloves
(E186).

If prepackaged adhesive (E40) is not
available, prepare adhesive (E41). Mix 100
parts of resin and 23 parts of hardener by
weight. Use trip balance and polyethylene
cup (E157). Stir until color is uniform. Use
wood spatula (E424).
NOTE
Working life of adhesive is about 30
minutes.
INSTALL INSERT
11.
Inject adhesive mixture through either hole (11)
in tab (8). Use hypodermic injector. Continue to
inject mixture until it flows from the other hole.
12.
Wipe off excess adhesive from top of tab (8).
Use cloths (E120).
