NOTE
Procedure is same to inspect forward
or aft swashplate rotating rings.
1.
Check for nicks or scratches within 2 inches of
center of holes (1) in six lugs (2) of rotating ring
(3). Damage less than 0.005 inch in depth shall
be accepted without rework. Repair damage
0.005 inch to 0.020 inch in depth (Task 5-120).
2.
Check for nicks or scratches in all other surface
areas of rotating ring (3). Damage less than
0.010 inch in depth shall be accepted without
rework. Repair damage 0.010 inch to 0.020
inch in depth (Task 5-120).
