NOTE
Procedure is same to remove rod end
from any shock absorber. Forward
rotary-wing head shock absorber is
shown here.
1.
Remove lockwire from rod end nut (1). Loosen
nut. Move locking washer (2) away from notch
(3) in piston (4).
2.
Remove rod end (5).
3.
Remove locking washer (2) and nut (1).
