General Safety Instructions:
Dry cleaning solvent (E162) is
flammable and toxic. It can irritate
skin and cause burns. Use only on
well-ventilated area, away from heat
and open flame. In case of contact,
immediately flush skin or eyes with
water for at least 15 minutes. Get
medical attention for eyes. Use gloves
(E186).
Oil (E254/E254.1) is toxic. It can
irritate skin and cause burns. Avoid
inhaling. Use only with adequate
ventilation. Avoid contact with skin,
eyes, or clothing. In case of contact,
immediately flush skin or eyes for
at least 15 minutes. Get medical
attention for eyes.
NOTE
Procedure is similar to install vertical
hinge pin inner seal in any pitch
housing lug.
1.
Remove preservative from seal (1). Use cloth
(E120) damp with solvent (E162). Wear gloves
(E186).
2.
Check seal lips (2) for nicks or scratches. Use
magnifier. There shall be no nicks or scratches.
