Safety Blocks (T31) Installed (Task 11-28)
NOTE
Positive retention bolts are installed
in upper controls. Bolts have a pawl
which prevents nut or bolt removal
unless pawl is depressed (Task 1-13).
Attaching bolts, washers and nuts will
be temporarily installed after removing
connecting link and actuator.
NOTE
If a crack in the connecting link or
yoke is suspected during removal,
refer to TM 1-1520-253-23.
1.
Remove cotter pin (1), nut (2), washers (3), and
tilt (4) attaching LCT actuator (5) to yoke (6).
2.
Support yoke (6) with wood block (7).
