Set tester (13) power switch to OFF.

Disconnect both multimeters (11 and 12) from
battery cable connector.
Allow heater probe to cool before
removing battery cable. Hot probe
can burn hands and fingers. If
personnel are burned while handling
hot heater probe, seek medical
attention immediately.
18.
Remove temperature switch (8) and thermister
(9) from heater probe (10).
