Task 7-97
1.
Install two packings (1) and two seal caps (2) in
bore of extensible link (3) as follows:
Seal assembly P/N S33081-18P-99
must be used, otherwise component
malfunction can occur.
a.
Remove packings (1) from two seal caps (2).
b.
Position packing (1) on insertion tool (1.1).
c.
Insert packing (1) into packing groove in bore
of extensible link (3).
d.
Remove insertion tool (1.1).
e.
Insert installation tool (1.2) thru packing (1).
Turn installation tool clockwise until packing
is seated in packing groove.
f.
Repeat steps a thru d for remaining packing
(1) and two seal caps (2).
