Got medical attentionfor eyes.NOTEEnsure slider bushing (9.1) is notremoved and remains with yokemount (10).4.Clean shaft (16) with dry cleaning solvent (E162).Use cloth (E120). Wear gloves (E184.1) andgoggles.5.Make sure recessed washer (11) is under headof shaft (9), recess toward heed.Flight Safety Parts. This is aninstallation critical flight safetypart. All aspects of its assemblyand installation must be ensured.Ensure that slider bushing (9.1) isnot removed and remains with yokemount (10).FLIGHT SAFETY PARTSThis is an installation critical flightsafety part. All aspects of itsinstallation including stackup ofassociated components must beensured.Ensure special countersunk washer isinstalled properly under the head ofthe yoke shaft. Countersink must facetowards hex head of the shaft.Ensure bushing is installed inoutboard lug of the transmission coverclevis prior to yoke shaft installation.Follow proper nut torquing sequenceto allow for yoke assembly bearingpreloading procedure.Apply final nut torque and install cotterpin as required.Loose attachments within flight controlprimary linkage will degrade aircraftcontrol.
