TM 55-1520-240-23-911-33NEUTRAL RIG CHECK(Continued)11-33FORWARD SERVOCYLINDERSNOTEDue to accumulation of tolerances, and static blade loads, the accuracyof servocylinder piston measurementsnoted during rigging of the controlsystem may not be repeatable onsubsequent neutral rig checks.Adjust control system rigging as nearnominal as possible. Proper rigging isproven by a successful maintenanceflight test. If the flight test indicatesthat control positions and autorotationrpm are within tolerance, subsequentdimensional rigging checks are notrequired. If the flight control systemis disturbed dimensionally, the riggingshall be readjusted within tolerance.Perform rigging as a continuous stepby step process from the copilotposition. Each adjustment effectsother components, be precise.4.Working from forward left work platform, measureand record length of left servocylinder pistons(12).5.Working from forward right work platform, measure and record length of right servocylinderpistons (13).6.Check lengths of piston (12 and 13) measured insteps 4 and 5. Length shall be 6-1/8 to 6-11/64inches. If not, rig forward servocylinders (Task11-54). Repeat steps 4, 5, and 6.7.Deleted.11-112
