1.
Install sling (1) as follows:
a.
Open access door (2) in engine access cover
(3).
b.
Connect two cables (4) to forward fittings (5)
on powerplant (6).
c.
Connect cable (7) into aft fitting (8) through
cover (3).
d.
Adjust sling (1) until eye (9) is over center
hole (10) in sling bar (11).
e.
Install pin (12) through bar (11).
2.
Connect hoist (13) to eye (14) of sling (1). Raise
hoist slowly to support weight of powerplant (6).
Do not lift engine from installed position.
