1.
Apply a light coating of grease (E190) to
generator shaft splines (1).
APU generator is heavy and can injure
personnel if it drops. Generator must
be held firmly and moved carefully
to prevent injury.
2.
Install generator (2) over studs (3) with nuts (5),
large terminal board (4) down. Rotate generator
clockwise. Tighten nuts (5).
3.
Position air inlet (6) on generator (2) and install
five screws (7).
NOTE
Top screw in air inlet is omitted.
4.
Lockwire (E231) screws (7).
5.
Install screen (8) and clamp (9).
