Install separator (3) in housing (7), coned end (8)
outward. Push separator to bottom of housing.
4.
Install cap (6) in housing (7), large end first.
Push cap until bottomed.
5.
Install housing (7) in vise (9).
Wear goggles when removing retainer
to prevent injury to eyes.
6.
Install retainer (10) in groove (11) of housing (7).
Wear goggles for eyes.
7.
Position plate (12) in housing (7). Install two new
screws (13). Screws are self-locking. If screws
turn freely, replace screws.
8.
Remove housing (7) from vise (9).
INSPECT
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:
Perform functional test (Task 7-177).
