Inspect the Aft Transmission serial
number prior to installation, for the
following serial numbers: A9-129FC
and A9-132. Those serial numbered
transmissions were improperly
shimmed. If located, please notify
the CH-47 PM Office, Logistics
Division, at DSN 897-4289/4690 or
Commercial (256) 313-4289/4690 for
disposition instructions.
Check the forward or aft transmission
serial numbers for a "MG". A "MG"
after the serial number is required on
the forward and aft transmissions for
non-restrictive flights.
