For aft swashplate (8) only, remove seal (9) and
upper retainer (10) as follows:
a.
Remove lockwire. Remove 12 bolts (11) and
washers (12). Remove seal (9).
b.
Remove lockwire. Remove 10 bolts (13) and
washers (14). Remove upper retainer (10).
Go to step 3.
3.
Turn swashplate (1 or 8) over. Rest swashplate
on blocks (15).
4.
Matchmark spherical bearing (16), upper bearing
(17), and retaining spacer (18) to stationary
ring (19). Use marking pencil (E271). Remove
bearings and spacer from stationary ring by
hand.
NOTE
If hand pressure will not remove
bearing parts, use mallet against
wood block across spherical bearing.
5.
Matchmark lower bearing (20) and bearing
spacer (21) to stationary ring (19). Use marking
pencil (E271). Tap out bearing and spacer from
stationary ring. Use phenolic drift.
