Use screwextractor in pilot hole (7).NOTEAs stud comes out, it will lift outremaining lock ring. If it does not,use punch to collapse and removeremaining ring.INSTALL STUDWhen cleaning with compressed air,debris thrown by pressure can injureeyes. Do not use pressure over 30psi. Wear eye protection.15.Clean any debris from hole (7) in housing (1).Use low-pressure compressed air.Stud can be damaged if not installedto correct depth.NOTEInstall same size stud as removed.16.Coat flange (6) and large thread of stud (2) withprimer (E292.1). Wear gloves (E184.1).17.Install stud (2). Use special wrench (8). Makesure top of flange (6) is 0.010 to 0.020 inchbelow surface of housing (1).1-25
