NOTE
Service left and right struts in same
way. Left strut is shown here.
1.
Remove lockwire from two filter plugs (1 and 2).
Strut fluid may be under pressure.
Loosen plug slowly to allow
any pressurized fluid out safety.
Otherwise, personal injury can result.
If hit by fluid, flush side with water.
Get medical attention for eyes.
NOTE
Placing cloths around strut before
loosening plug will absorb released
fluid.
2.
Loosen aft (upper) plug (2) slowly. Wait for
pressure to bleed off.
