NOTE
Service left and right shock struts in
same way. Left strut is shown here.
1.
Remove lockwire from two filler plugs (1 and 2).
Strut fluid may be under pressure.
Loosen plug slowly to allow
any pressurized fluid out safely.
Otherwise, personal injury can result.
If hit by fluid, flush skin with water.
Get medical attention for eyes.
NOTE
Placing cloths around strut before
loosening plugs will absorb released
fluid.
2.
Loosen plug (2) slowly. Wait for pressure to
bleed off.
