5.
Check that tank vent (4) and drain holes (5) are
clear.
6.
Connect air mover ground receptacle (6) to
aircraft plug (7).
7.
Remove fuel tank filler cap (8).
8.
Install air mover (2) into open filler hole (9).
Secure mover with tape (E388).
9.
Open air supply valve (3) fully.
NOTE
If only the air mover is used, purging
takes 24 hours. If more rapid purging
is required perform steps 11 thru 22.
10.
Test purged tank. Use combustible gas indicator.
If level of fumes is still dangerous, purge until
level is safe.
