Disconnect electrical connector (1).
If hose is not removed from screen,
debris may fall into hose when
screen is removed from transmission.
Continued contamination may result.
2.
Disconnect hose (2) from screen (3). Cap hose
quickly to prevent oil loss. Catch spilled oil in
container. Retain spilled oil for contamination
analysis (Task 6-108).
3.
Remove three washers (4) and nuts (5). Remove
screen (2) from transmission cavity (6). Catch
spilled oil in container.
4.
Remove packing (7) from screen (2).
