General Safety Instructions:
Adhesive (E27) is toxic. It can
irritate skin and cause burns. Avoid
inhaling. Use only with adequate
ventilation. Avoid contact with skin,
eyes, or clothing. In case of contact,
immediately flush skin or eyes with
water for at least 15 minutes. Get
medical attention for eyes.
NOTE
Two types of latches (Avibank 9170
and Hartwell H976-7) are used on
engine screens. When replacing latch
assemblies, use only Avibank 9170
latches.
The engine screen assembly has five
latches. Replacement is same for all.

If Hartwell latch (5) is installed, drill out six rivets
(1) which attach pad (2). Remove pad from
screen (3). If Avibank latch is installed, go to
step 7.

Drill out four rivets (4) securing latch (5). Remove
latch.
